How to copy Linestyles from a RSC file to a new RSC file or to an existing one

It might happen that you need to copy certain line styles from one RSC to another RSC file.

 

Steps to Accomplish

Option 1 : Create a new RSC file to which you will copy some linestyles from an existing RSC

 

1.Element>Line Styles>Edit. Click on File>Manage and then on File>New (to create a new Line style Library). Create a new RSC file by giving it a name and Save.

 

 

2.File>Manage and File>Open Source File (to open the RSC file that contains the line styles that you need to copy to the new one). Select the RSC file that contains the line styles you need to copy

 

 

3.Copy the desidered line styles from the existing RSC to the new one

 

 

Option 2 : Copy linestyles from an existing RSC to an existing RSC

 

1.Element>Line Styles>Edit. Click on File>Manage and then on File>Open Source File (to open the RSC file that contains the line styles that you need to copy to the new one). Select the RSC file that contains the line styles you need to copy

 

 

2.File>Manage and File>Open Destination File (to open an existing RSC file to which you will copy the linestyles). Select the existing RSC file

 

 

3.Copy the desidered line styles from the existing RSC to the other existing RSC (see step 3 in Option 1)
