How to place a dimension between two parallel curves (so it appears as image 1 below)

Steps to Accomplish

Option 1

1. Use Dimension Arc Distance tool
2. To use, go to the menu Tools > Dimensions > Radial Dimensions > Dimension Arc Distance
3. Click on first curve, then second curve and place dimension

Option 2

1. Start the Dimension Linear tool with Alignment set to True
2. Using Snap Nearest, snap the start of dimension to one of the curves
3. Select Snap Perpendicular and snap to the second curve
4. Place the dimension
