Problem

Create line terminator options

Solution

Options overview:

Line with terminator symbol:
Arrows have a fixed scale, set when the symbol is placed.
Direction of the arrow is not linked to the line.
Arrows are not scaled using annotation scale or reference scale.

Note without text:
Behaves as a dimension.
Can be placed with annotation scale on.
Initially is one segment, but more can be added/inserted with the Insert Vertex tool.
The direction of the arrow is linked to the direction of the line.

Line with custom linestyle - stroke showing as arrow:
Can be shown at fixed size, independent of the reference scale when using default (master) units.
Can be shown at fixed size, independent of the zoom level when using device units.
The direction of arrow is linked to the direction of line.
Can also be used for arcs and curves.
Arrow does not have to be at the start or end of the line.

Line with custom linestyle - point symbol showing as arrow:
As with linestyle using stroke for arrow, but more freedom in appearance.
