Problem

When is a type 5 reference attachment written to a 3D master file?

Product: MicroStation J7.1

Solution

A type 5 reference attachment is written to a 3D file:

1) When the reference attachment is 3D.

2) There are less than 32 attachments.

3) There is one, or less than one, clip masks for the said reference attachment.

Otherwise, a type 66 reference attachment is written to the master file.
