Problem
Having trouble linking information from the OpenOffice suite of programs
Attempting to link information from OpenOffice suite of programs, which
allows for creating documents, spreadsheets and PowerPoint slides. When
this information is copied to the clipboard the option under Paste
Special does not allow for linking and embedding the document.

Solution
While the information cannot be linked and embedded into MicroStation
but can be linked into the Microsoft Office suite of products, it will
not link in Word Pad which is generally the litmus test for development
in regards low-level copy/paste functionality of OLE. This points to the
problem being on the OpenOffice side of the issue and is not supported
in MicroStation other than bringing in a picture of the document.
