How to place an attached/referenced Google Earth image behind elements/linework when attaching in a 2D file
Background
When a Google Earth image is attached as a reference into a 2D file, it is appearing in front of or on top of the existing elements/linework in the Active 2D file. How can this be set so the attached image is sent to the back or put behind the active elements/linework in the 2D file?
Steps to Accomplish
To get the elements to display in front of the pictures, we need to tell MicroStation to process that data last (or, in other simpler terms, process the reference data first). To do this;
- Go to the References dialog
- From the menu, choose Settings > Update Sequence
- Move the reference to the top (beginning of sequence)
- Click on OK - elements should now display in front of image
- Go to File > Save Settings to retain change
