Problem

Single monitor, opening files locally and accross the network.

When selecting a file in Microstation Manager, it takes a minute or so for the drop down
menus to show, and another minute or so to receive error "Error opening child window 14"

Solution

This error does not appear to come from MicroStation.

There is some third party image software involved but we were not able to nail it down.

Even an internet search reveals nothing for this specific error message. The best shot at a solution right now is to see if any new software was recently added to the machine, especially photo editing software, and remove it.

Same error when using Matrox G400 dual head using the manufactures driver.
Error disappears after disabling the QVISGL.cfg.
