Problem

Saving DWG files to V7 and the fonts/text from a SHX looks different in V7 (V7 Workmode). For example, a special character like a stacked plus minus sign that was originally placed by entering %%P in AutoCAD or
Microstation does not look the same after saved to V7.

Solution

1. In V7 (this is not supported in V8), import the SHX file into a RSC File (Utilities>Install Fonts)
2. In V7 (and V8 if the V7 file will be opened in V8), add the RSC file from Step 1. to MS_SYMBRSRC
3. Save the DWG file to V7 with a Remap CSV file that remaps the font used in the DWG (the same SHX font imported into the RSC) to the corresponding USTN font number (this is the UST N font number created in
Step 1.)
