Problem
How do I switch on or off the Automatic Element Highlight?
Solution
This feature can be switched on or off in the AccuSnap Settings dialog.
In MicroStation CONNECT:
Navigate to Drawing Workflow >> Drawing Aids Tab >> Snaps Ribbon Group dialog launcher
Toggle off "Identify Elements Automatically". Save settings (CTRL+f) to keep changes.
In addition, the "Hilite Active Element" and "Pop-up info" settings in this dialog can also affect element highlighting.
The References dialog also contains some element highlighting functionality that can be toggled on/off for references.
