Problem

Working in MicroStation/J with ProjectWise, the variable MS_FILEHISTORY appears to be locked and set to 0 in the Configuration Variable dialog box.

Explanation

The integration of ProjectWise within MicroStation/J is such that MicroStation/J is able to see the past files but is unable to use ProjectWise to pull them up. Because of this issue, Bentley was forced to set it so if you are using MicroStation/J with ProjectWise as an add-on, you are unable to use the last four files and directories, as the variable was made to do. If you come across this issue, it is not a defect and MicroStation is running correctly.
