By default CONNECT Edition applications are updated automatically via the CONNECTION Client. When updates are available a notification will be displayed:
The updates will be shown in the CONNECTION Client, click 'Install Selected' to proceed with installation.
Note: When installing to multiple machines it can save time and reduce impact on available internet bandwidth to install from a local Deployment Image.
The installer user interface will be shown where appropriate to allow options to be chosen, companion features or applications for example:
Once downloaded, which will be quick, the initial download is a small setup file that pulls the main update files from our servers, the installer will open.
The installer interface has been updated in this version to be clearer and more informative:
Optionally the 'Configure' button at the top right will run through the available installation options:
Click the Custom Configuration radio button to add, show or amend the Custom Configuration location:
If necessary changes optional features, in some cases it may be preferable not to have Technology Preview features available.
Accept the End User License Agreement, then click Install.
The installation will proceed until complete:
Some components may take a while to download (depending on the available internet speed):
Click Finish to complete the installation:
