Problem
How to tell at a glance if Level Attributes such as Color, Line Style, and Line Weight are set ByLevel?
For example, when placing an element or using the Match Element Attributes tool, is there a way to quickly check if the attributes are set to ByLevel?
Solution
The attribute icons for Color, Line Style and Line Weight appear differenlty if they are set to ByLevel.
In the main Attributes Ribbon Group (or tool box), when attributes are set to ByLevel, the icon changes to show three stacked white sheets.
The following image shows the Attributes Ribbon Group menu with Color, Line Style and Line Weight all set to ByLevel (white sheets are visible):
The following image shows the Attributes Ribbon Group menu with Color, Line Style and Line Weight not set to ByLevel - observe that the icons appear differently (three white sheets do not display):
