I had a previous question about the OE for AutoCAD 2016 which was answered successfully.
My question is now what is the plan for AutoCAD 2017? Are Bentley considering releasing a Stand alone OE for AutoCAD 2017 rather than awaiting a completely new Version of AutoPLANT to come out?
AutoCAD 2016 was released 15 months ago (April 2015) and only now (July 2016) is an OE available. AutoCAD 2017 has been out since April this year. Do we have to wait another 12 months for an OE?
The lack of an OE is massively inconvenient for us as well as our clients. We will not use some consultants if they can't provide models viewable in the latest AutoCAD so surely this would benefit Bentley customers as well as Autodesk customers.
Thanks for Sharing your concern as well Shane!
We will make sure that this will get echoed to Product Management Team.

Hi,
To further update on this, you can expect OE for AutoCAD 2017 by end of this year.
HTH,
Rahul
Is it going to be a standalone release or as part of SS9?
Last year the ProStructures Release was promised last quarter 2015 and didn't come out to June. AutoPlant was promised April.
