Model Server Tools Missing When Working in Managed Environment with ProjectWise CONNECT Edition

Problem Description

Setting up new managed workspace environment with Projectwise CONNECT Edition and OpenPlant Modeler , immediate observation is all the OpenPlant ModelServer tools are missing. Login prompt, Tree or task pane items.

This is related to bug in Projectwise CONNECT Edition import which disables any conditional statement in configuration files. Going to Projectwise Administrator and checking configuration you would see the following.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Select and double-click  to edit %if  & %endif  statements and correct them by activating the config.



  2. Save and restart OpenPlant Modeler to reflect these changes.
