If a user receives the error message "Error 374 VB.UserControl received while opening Document Manager or Vision," it typically means that Bentley Plant Framework has become corrupt or out of sync. New .ocx or .dll files are referring to older versions and causing the errors.

After closing all Bentley applications on this workstation repair the Bentley Plant Framework that was last installed:

  1. Go to Control Panel > Add Remove Programs.
  2. Find Plant Framework in the list.
  3. Right click and select Support Information.
  4. Select the repair option.
