AutoPLANT Process & Instrumentation Workgroup V8i (SELECTseries 1)

is now available as a SELECT Release Product from SELECTservices Online http://selectservices.bentley.com/.

The following applications are included in this release:

  • Bentley Vision V8i (SELECTseries 1)
  • Bentley Data Manager V8i (SELECTseries 1)
  • Bentley Datasheets V8i (SELECTseries 1)
  • Bentley Instrumentation & Wiring V8i (SELECTseries 1)

This latest release of Bentley P&IW V8i includes; several enhancements to I&W and Datasheets, over 77 defects addressed.

Some of the features we've added to the latest edition of Bentley P&IW V8i are:

Separate Multiplexer Segment - Users now have the ability to generate a FOUNDATION fieldbus segment drawing that show the instruments, bricks and multiplexers all on one drawing sheet, or they can split the multiplexers (and associated connections) onto separate drawing sheets. This helps when modelling complex segments that would create extremely cluttered single drawings.

Composite Drawing Functionality of any tstrip type - Previously users could only leverage the composite (part AutoGen and part template) drawing functionality for FOUNDATION fieldbus brick tstrips. Now users can leverage this functionality for any tstrip (panel, brick, card etc.). This can be used to generate remote I/O drawings for example where the I/O controllers are located in the field and instruments are connected directly to them.

Miscellaneous I&W Enhancements - Enhancements related to drawing print range selection capacity, terminators on H1 cards and the number of I/O cards selectable for Card loop type drawing generation.

Bulk Datasheet Generation and Supplemental Tables - Bulk Datasheet Generator now updates from supplemental table.

AutoPLANT PDW V8i (SELECTseries 1)

is now available as a SELECT Release Product from SELECTservices Online http://selectservices.bentley.com/.

The following applications are included in this release:

 

  • AutoPLANT Piping V8i (SELECTseries 1)
  • AutoPLANT Equipment V8i (SELECTseries 1)
  • AutoPLANT Raceways V8i (SELECTseries 1)
  • AutoPLANT Isometrics V8i (SELECTseries 1)
  • Plus many utility applications that supports the AutoPLANT PDW suite

This latest release of Bentley PDW V8i (SELECTseries 1) includes; several enhancements to PDW, over 27 defects addressed.

Some of the features we've added to the latest edition of AutoPLANT PDW V8i are:

General AutoPLANT Enhancements

  • Debug Mode: Ebs scripts can now be debugged in all supported CAD versions.
  • AutoPLANT enablers are modified so they can get loaded inside RealDWG based applications.

ISOGEN Related Enhancements

  • A flag (IGNORE_DANGLING_FASTENERS) has been added to omit open end flanges and fasteners while generating Isogen files. This flag can be customized via component preferences.
  • Post processing of Isogen files in Briefcase Mode now allowed.

AutoPLANT and ProjectWise Integration Enhancements

  • For ProjectWise enabled projects, an option has been added to delay saving the database changes from a checked out drawing until the drawing is checked back into ProjectWise.
  • User can now specify a different logical name from the document in ProjectWise. Previously, the logical and physical file name had to match.
  • An option has been added to allow the user to either generate versions for Isogen files or overwrite the existing ISOGEN files in the ProjectWise repository
  • Work Area Views are automatically updated in ProjectWise enabled projects

AutoPLANT P&ID V8i (SELECTseries 1)

is now available as a SELECT Release Product from SELECTservices Online http://selectservices.bentley.com/.
