think the syntax was "TextJustification.CenterCenter/LeftBottom/whatever" in that version. Anyway it's an optional so you should be able to just delete it from the script..?

I'm really interested to see how you went about doing this in GC. I'm trying to achieve the same thing but when I opened your file It said it was missing something about a property name missing "Porperty name "JustificationSingleLine" not found in feature textStyle01 (of type GC.TextStyle)."
from there its all red dots and no image. Let me know if you can help me out or troubleshoot the file from your post.

This is an updated version of some work done about 6 months ago that was published on GCuser as a collaberation between a brookes student, a QUT student, and me.
I've beefed it up a little so now it draws the two solstices and the equinox as bspline curves.
The new ecotect 5.6 allows you to right click on the tabular sun path digram (calculate --> sun path) and save it as a csv.
This tool takes an input of an xls with altitudes and azimuths and returns a set of points.
it's not the fastest way to do it, but it's easy to get your head around (no 3d trig!)
