I want two attributes - "parent of location" and "parent of parent"

               You can do it with a projectwise attribute trigger.  However, if you copy a document with attributes the attributes get copied after the triggers fire so you will not get your filled in information in that case and would have to manually correct the data.  Are you wanting just the parent or the full path to the location of where you are?
