this technically starts a new thread however here are the steps that should help you out:
"Un-integrate" a application with ProjectWise Explorer :
1. Open Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Scroll down to 'ProjectWise Explorer V8 XM Edition' or 'ProjectWise Explorer V8i': click Change button 2. In The Setup Wizard window Click Next > Program Maintenance window select Modify : click Next 3. Expand by clicking on '+' left of iDesktop Intergration > Expand Microsoft Office > Left click on Microsoft Word > select the red X 'This feature will not be avaliable' > Click Next, Install, and Finish.
