  • We are done moving the content from the original ProjectWise community to the respective forums, blogs, wikis, and file areas. The indexes to the SELECTsupport TechNotes and FAQs have also been updated. We have noticed a persistent cache issue where some "old" wiki articles are showing up in the site search, but are inaccessible -- we are working on clearing that up. In the mean time, the indexes and ToCs should be accurate, so you can use those to get to the right article.

We appreciate everyone's patience while this was being done. If you happen to see or encounter something that does not look right, please let us know so we can address it.

  • Work on moving content from this community's forum to respective sub-community forums is now complete. Next, we will be "moving" content from the wiki, blog, and files area to their respective sub-communities.

  • We have started updating this community. The following sub-communities have been created in the ProjectWise "parent" community:

We are moving forum threads/topics from the "parent" community forum to the most applicable sub-community forum. We will continue monitoring existing threads, but ask that any new thread/topic be started in the sub-community forum that is most applicable to the topic.

We will provide an update after the forum content has been moved and identify what will be done next. We appreaciate your understanding and patience in advance while we work to make the user experience on this site better.

  • Over the next month, the Products » ProjectWise community on Be Communities will be reorganized to better align with the various products and workflows encompassed by the ProjectWise brand. The result will be four new sub-communities under the ProjectWise "umbrella", one each for the three major ProjectWise initiatives (e.g. Content Management, Content Publishing, and Project Review) as well as a ProjectWise Programming sub-community for information pertaining to programming with the various public ProjectWise-brand APIs and SDKs. Each sub-community will contain the same applications that currently exist in the ProjectWise community (e.g. a forum, blog, wiki, and files area) and all existing content will be moved to the most applicable sub-community application (i.e. ProjectWise Integration Server forum threads will be moved to the forum in the Content Management community, any API/SDK forum threads will be moved to the ProjectWise Programming community forum, etc.) This reorganization will make it easier to get information that is focused on similar context, making the Be Communities experience better and more valuable for users looking for information pertaining to our ProjectWise product line.

We expect all existing content to be moved, but there are a few things that you should be aware of:

    1. All current RSS feeds from the Products » ProjectWise community will have to be recreated to accommodate the new community organization.
    2. Likewise, any Products » ProjectWise internet favorites/bookmarks will have to be recreated (note that this should NOT have any impact on Favorites that you have created within the site itself).
    3. Any existing content that includes links to other existing content within the current ProjectWise community (i.e. a forum post that contains a link to a wiki post or blog article) will no longer work and will have to be manually updated. Although we do not anticipate many instances like this, if you happen to encounter one that we missed, please let us know by clicking on the Contact Us link at the bottom of any Be Communities page.
    4. Threads that had previously shown as "read" will become "unread".

We are planning to start the reorganization the week of June 20 and be completed within a few weeks. We will communicate updates on a regular basis, but wanted to provide advance notice to minimize any temporary inconvenience this may cause.

While the reorganization is ongoing, we encourage you to continue using this community -- preferably posting questions and articles in the most applicable "new" area that fits the context of the inquiry or information.

If you have any questions or comments regarding this, please reply to this post so all can benefit from the dialog.

In the mean time, please pardon the dust while this work is happening :)
