Bentley Navigator for the iPad is our iPad version of the desktop software, Bentley Navigator V8i. In this iPad product preview, you will get a 360-degree view of 3D design models (also called maps) - so realistic that you feel you are actually at the site. Using the iPad’s motion sensors and touch screens, you will not only get panoramic views but also get object properties. For example, you can determine the thickness of the pipe, its paint color, or the pressure rating.

By creating "points-of-interest" in the models, you will quickly access the information you need, when you need it. Any annotations made in the iPad can then be merged with the models on your desktop software. We have made this possible because of Bentley’s proprietary "optimized i-models." Using Bentley's iware apps from www.bentley.com you can convert any DGN, Revit, DWG, DXF, Rhino (3DM), and 3DS files that you may be currently using into 'optimized i-models' for the ipad.
