Bentley Rail Design Courses In The UK

Hi all

I am currently a student studying engineering at my local college and I am interested in making a career in railway design.

I live in the UK and I wanted to know if there are any courses (paid or unpaid) which I can physically attended to gain some form of accreditation or just some formal training.

My college will be prepared to pay for any course but only if it is a course which I can attend not an online course.

I am a still a new user of BRT so any courses geared towards basic users will be great. I have been given the freedom to attend a rail design course anywhere in the UK so long as the cost is reasonable.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

  • Bentley has an Academic program, but I don't know much about it. If you go to the initial page on this site, you will see a link to Learn Communities. You might post an inquiry to that site.
Also you can search the web for various videos, etc. that are available. Just search for "Bentley Rail Track Youtube" and you will see the videos.
Also, you could go to the Road and Site Design community and look for Support Solutions. A large amount of the material is the the same, whether you are doing road or rail design.
