Hi
I have a problem with single slip turnouts in Power Rail Track V8i (SELECT series 2) V08.11.07.615
I believe Power Rail Track does not calculate a proper alignment when connection is made to the turnout on the side which is NOT supposed to have a branch. It seem to me that single slip turnouts is treated in exactly the same manner as double slip turnouts by establishing a branch on both sides. In my efforts to solve my problem, I have tried to define the single slip turnout with only one branch, but the turnout connection editor does not behave as it is supposed to.
In lack of a single slip turnout sketch, I have atached a double slip turnout sketch below.
Assuming the 1st branch is established and no 2nd branch:When connecting to point .5 I would expect the software to make an alignment that end on point no. .3, but it the 2nd branch which is not supposed to be established on a single slip turnout. This affects of course longitudinal profiles and turnout reports.
Does anyone have a solution/workaround or am I doing something wrong?
