Bentley Rail Track (InRail) V8i Select Series 1.
Hi all, I'm struggling with scales when using plan and profile generator.
The only way I can get a sheet to look correct is by scaling the frame up to model size. ie 841m x 594m A1 sheets.
When I output sheets to the correct size ie 0.841m x 0.594m A1, the model viewport remains at 1:1 meaning only 550mm of viewport can fit onto a sheet instead of 550m scaled 1:1000.
I've experimented with the scale setting in the 'View Layout' tab but unfortunatley this does not scale the model down to fit the viewport in sheet space like I would have expected. I'm beginning to wonder if the only way this tool can be used is if sheets generated are scaled up to model instead of the other way around.
The best i am able to do is generate sheets at the correct A1 size with the model output 1:1. Then within the new sheet ammend the model xref to 1:1000 which then fits exactly within the sheet viewport. It seems like i'm missing a setting somewhere. If anyone else has managed to output to the correct sheet size with the model also correctly scaled down I would be very keen to understand how it's done. Many thanks
This are my settings:

Plan control:
Sheet layout:
View layout:
Border and title:
I use it to create A3 sheets in the host file.
My seed, border, and design files are in master units: Meters
The border file have dimensions 297/420 units
My only problem is that the clipping boundary cuts by some amount from any sheet. I don't know how to change it to cut only from the last sheet. Any ideas ?

"With regards to your clipping query, perhaps experiment with extending your alignments in InRail at one or both ends in order to manipulate your cutline locations. Then, following sheet generation trim in CAD. "
I asked the support, and they tell me the answer. The Lock>Station must be off ;)
