Geometry Data Boxes - How to display

Its one of those "I could do it in MX but not in BRT" issues. We need to display the geometry information in a data box above the alignment not along the alignment. Does anybody know where the settings are in the preference files to allow us to do this?

apologies probably a very simple problem !

  • Sorry I don't know much about such type of annotation. In France we only annotate along the alignment. But as far as I know this possibility does not exist as it is in MX.

    • You can send information in a table when you activate the tabling capability in the style. Use the help button on the Horizontal ANnotation>tabling dialog.
This will annotate a reference/code (seed number) along the alignment and send the information in an external table (XML) opened with the Report browser. But it does not allow you to place the table in the drawing. You can do it by saving the file in EXcel the place the Excel spreadsheet in the drawing.

    • The other way much more like MX does with a table inserted at each HIP, is to use the curveset annotation (also in View Geometry). You can place and organize a lot of information using rows and columns number, but the grid is not displayed, only value.
