Alignment plan display in 2D in Microstation

Question

Hi, 
 When I display an alignment created by importing the 3D cad file (horizontal and vertical) in BRT shows as 3D cad entity in Microstation, is there any setting in BRT to display that alignment as 2D string in Microstation. 
 I have tried the Option Geomtry-Diplay alignment as 2D polyline in variable manger (which is for Autocad users), but it doesn&rsquo;t solve my problem. 
 All solutions are much appreciated.

Use Geometry > View > Horizontal Annotation and check on Planarize.

Then goto Geometry > Utilities > Assign Elevations and set the elevation of the horizontal alignment to zero. This has the same affect as the planarize option, except that the elevation on the horizontal is now zero. This has no affect on any vertical alignments.
