I am very happy to announce the launch of STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition Update 2.

As part of our commitment to you to deliver new builds more frequently, we are making available this build which provides a number of updates and addresses a number of issues that have been recorded and thus highly recommended that you adopt this new build.
The principal developments and enhancements that are delivered in this new version of STAAD.Pro are:-
Steel Design - AISC 360-16
The routines provided for steel design have been enhanced with the addition of a design module for the design of steel members to the requirements outlined in the publication ‘ANSI/AISC 360-16 Specifications for Structural Steel Buildings’. This module has been designed to improve the performance of the analysis/design time and provide a quicker way to access detailed design results.
This feature was provided in the previous release, STAAD.Pro CE Update 1 as a Technical Preview capability, but is now delivered as a fully commercial feature.
Concrete Design - ACI 318-14
The routines provided for concrete beam and column design to the US specifications have been enhanced with the addition of a module that provides a design to the ACI publication ‘Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete (ACI 318-14) and Commentary.’
Wind Loading
The wind loading routine has been enhanced with a new component that determines loading to the Russian specification SP13330:2016. This includes separate determination of both static and dynamic parts to provide the most accurate method yet for establishing forces as prescribed in the publication.
New Output Viewer
The results of an analysis and design run are now provided in a new viewer that is built using the same technology and capabilities provided in the new Editor.
New Ribbon for Selection
In response to feedback from users, we have revised the ribbon tabs format to provide selection in a new single aggregated ribbon.
Note, that the Selection Group of commands can be accessed quickly by simply pressing on the Spacebar over the model view.
OpenSTAAD documentation
A new comprehensive document to help in the development of Macros in STAAD.Pro or in third party applications such as Excel, Mathcad or MicroStation, using OpenSTAAD has been developed and provided in the Help folder, typically:-

AISC database v15
The AISC have updated the description and properties of readily available section profiles. These have been provided in STAAD.Pro, however the older database is also provided and using the Section Database Manager, the program can be rolled back to use the older published profile information.
Revision History
No additional features have been added to the program, however a number of issues found in the earlier releases and have been addressed. For details of the issues see the revision history document that is included in the ReadMe and can also be found here.
