RAM Elements CONNECT Edition v16.00.00.37 Release Notes – Updated December 2018

Resolved Issues:

• Reinforcement bars imported from the Beam Design module where not updated properly when units were changed in the model. This is fixed now.
  
  
• Transversal reinforcement bars imported from the Beam Design module where not located properly when more than one group was defined. This is fixed now, and the transversal reinforcements is located correctly regardless the number of groups.
  
  
• Reinforcement bars imported from Concrete Column Design module were preventing to delete the member they belong to. This is fixed now, and the reinforcement is deleted as any other column property.
  
  
• AISC360-16 steel member design for single angles defined as continuous members with braced points were showing different results than segmented members. This is fixed now, and the unbraced lengths are considered correctly for compression and flexure.
  
  
• BS5950 steel member design was ignoring axial for interaction equations is tubular sections. This is fixed now.
  
  
• Tilt-up module was reporting small deflections as the incorrect inertia was being considered for the ACI 318-14 design code. This is fixed now.
