I am working on STAAD.Pro, pipes in the table below are greyed out and not available to add to the project. Additionally, whenever I opened a project that already had various pipe sizes assigned to members, those properties would disappear and the member would show up as line geometry without an unassigned shape in the model.
Solution
This can happen if at any point of time one chooses to add some specific sections to the Project Database. Other sections within the Section Profile Table appear as grayed out in such cases. To reset it to default setup, please go through the following steps:
- Click on Properties -> Section Database.
- Click on 'View Table', change the option to 'Select Sections to Project Database'.
- Click on 'Add All' as shown here.
4. You will get the following dialog box. Click on Yes.
Now you will be able to add all the sections to your project and use those.
