I believe we also need to transform coordinate geometry, TIN files and any other externally stored data with the utilities as well. In other words, the vertical design apps do not utilize the new Geocoordinate feature.

InRoads stores coordinates as just that, coordinates. There is no automatic recognition of DGN file coordinate systems as with Bentley Map or other Bentley geospatial products. We do provide a Geometry > Utilities > Transform command as well as other transformation mechanisms within the InRoads product line.

Does InRoads V8i recognize coordinate systems such that if I load data from an alg file that was stored in state plane into a drawing that is on a different coordinate system the coordinates will transform? Ron
