We use a macro to do cross section drawings to the Danish Standard as we have done for years. Producing multiple dpf-pages of cross sections to a single drawing in 2004 version was  piece of cake in contrast to MX V8i.

If I use DPF-pages  to multiple drawings and then use the "pages toolbox" to display a page it is fast in contrast to DPF-pages to single drawing where it last 30 sec before the next page is displayed.  The Microstation option to display sheets is very fast but does not update the drawing with any enhancements added to the pages.

The last page is displayed by default so if all drawings are sent to a printer using "Batch print" the first page is empty unless it is displayed using "pages toolbox"  prior to the printing process.

Further if you use major option ENHANCE  and options like 884 with keywords SHEE and TOTL used to  add sheet number of total number of sheets  it only works if added outside a macro. If ENHANCE is invoked from inside a macro the keywords are displayed like "Sheet SHEE of TOTL" which is obviously not what you want.

BUT you have to walk through (display) all pages(sections) in order to update the drawings with enhancements options. A completely waste of time.

AND finally "Batch Print" stops after a few seconds when invoked from the drop down menu. Batch print hangs 10-15 sec, reports an error and when given the option to ignore the error batch print continues. The job settings fails but anyway it is possible to print.

Conclusion:  Batch Print needs very much to be fixed. As is it is so annoying that all my users long for the MX 2004 version ( anyway most of them do because v8i is very unstable and hangs without any notice many many times during working hours)

The updating process of drawings needs to be fixed , and  enhance options must work also when used from inside a macro. Other options misbehave the same way like annotating flat points to a long section drawing chainage and level extracted from a geometry string is not displayed if options are part of a macro , only the names of the temporary variables are annotated. Outside a macro it works as expected.

Lokking forward to get a fixed stable and mature version very very soon
