Fixed the problem!
Thanks Chris.

Hello Ron,
This is a known defect (D-08306). in the version you are working in InRoads XM. The issue is usually seen when you have a cross section set that does not include a valid design surface in some stations of the cross section set. Usually the beginning or the end of the cross section range.
To get it working correctly, you have to set limits on the End Area Volumes that include only the stations that have the valid design surface. There has to be a way for it to recognize an area value for every station in the cross section set if it is to calculate the volumes, so if your design surface doesn't start until a few stations after the beginning of the sections, these sections are invalid and causes the problem. So make sure either the cross section set created for the volumes has the design surface from start station to stop station, or set up limits for the End Area Volumes report.
As stated, this is a known defect and was fixed in InRoads V8i.
Thanks,
Chris
After creating cross sections I generated an End-Area Volume XML file.
When I view it with the BasicVolume.xsl sheet I can see totals by station, however the "Grand Total" at the bottom of the page is blank. Why is this? Something in my template?
Also, when I view the XML file using the Volume.xsl sheet, there are no totals at the bottom of the sheet for anything (cut/fill, materials).
