MXROAD How to Moss code: Create a Boundary around a model and give trimming length?

This question has suggested answer(s)

At menu: "Modify -> Edit strings -> Create a Boundary around a model" You can even Triming by length… Question is: "How to put this in MOSS code, and code trimming for short in number, it seems only a draw option. I want to use it as Crosssection cut to copy section set in Boundary, and as Boundary or PBRK in Triangle creation. Thanks a lot Li

  • The "Create a Boundary around a model" tool is an interactive tool that doesn't have any associated linemode coding. The reason for the trimming option in the tool is that it uses a temporary triangulation as part of the creation process.

You can create a boundary string using linemode option 009, this creates a boundary from existing strings, i.e the earthworks strings of a design. That option may be useful for you.
