Hello

The enclosed converter could be useful to them who frequently use Sap2000 and Staadpro.

  • Hi farouque,

Please let us know the instruction to use this converter.

    many thanks.

  • Hi Demy

It is very easy to use. Follow the following please:

    1. Make a model in SAP2000

    2. Export the model in S2K format (FILE << Export)

    3. Run My program (same location where you saved the S2K file)

    4. follow on screen instructions

    5. Press enter

    6. Same location you will find the converted StaadFile. :)

The program I uploaded last time had few bugs. I fixed them and again upload version 1.1.0. Please use this version. I tested the program and found working fine. If you find the bugs please inform me. Your feedback/suggestion is always welcome.

    Regards,

    Faroque

  • Hi Farouqe,

I have tried your instructions step-by-step and there's a warning message appear after step no 3. "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem". Are there any limitation on SAP, STAAD or Widdows Version to be able to use this converter?

    Thank you,

    Demy

  • Hi Demy

It seems you don't have microsoft visual C++ 2008 redistributable package (x86) installed in you system. You can easily download it from Microsoft website (Here is the link : www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx ).

Hope this will solve your problem.

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    Faroque

  • Farouqe,

It won't resolved as expected. The warning message still appear as before.

    Regards,

    Demy

suprise!! I was expecting that it would work.

May I know which version of windows you are using. I compiled my code in XP.

  • Demy

If you are still interested you can download the new exe file. I checked the file with a PC which does not have VC++. It works fine. I hope you will be able to run the program.

    Thanks.

  • Tried downloading this ZIP file - it appears 0 bytes size = not an archive. Where I can get it otherwise?
