THANKS A LOT NIHESH FOR YOUR REPLY. MY NEXT CONCERN NOW IS HOW TO DESIGN THE FOUNDATION OF THE SHEAR WALL BECAUSE I TRIED IMPORTING AT STAADFOUNDATION THE GENERATED SUPPORTS FROM STAADPRO CAN'T BE SEEN AT STAADFOUNDATION. PLEASE HELP NIHESH ON THIS PROBLEM OF MINE.

YES, I RUN FIRST THE STAADPRO BEFORE IMPORTING IT AT STAADFOUNDATION. THE REGULAR SUPPORTS REACTIONS APPEARED AT STAADFOUNDATION BUT WHAT I MEANT IS THE GENERATED IMAGINARY SUPPORTS AT THE BASE OF THE SHEAR WALL IN ORDER TO DESIGN ITS FOOTING, IT DIDN'T APPEAR AT STAADFOUNDATION. Out of topic but just wonder how did you enter these load combinations? Have you exported .std from an another program.
IT SO HAPPENED THAT IT REACHED TO 150 PLUS LOAD COMBINATIONS BECAUSE THERE WERE TWO LOAD CASES FOR DEAD LOAD: LOAD CASE 5 & 6. IN LOAD CASE 5 WE ANTICIPATE FUTURE LOADS. WITHOUT IT PERHAPS THE GENERATED LOAD CASES WOULD HAVE BEEN 90 TO 100 ESTIMATED. THIS IS DONE USING THE COMMANDS LOADING EDIT AUTO LOAD RULES WHERE YOU CAN EDIT LOAD FACTORS BASED ON YOUR CODE. THEN GO BACK TO COMMANDS LOADING AUTOMATIC LOAD COMBINATIONS AND STAAD WILL BE THE ONE TO COMBINE THEM RESPECTIVELY. I EDITED THEN IT TO REPEAT LOADS ( ONLY THE WORDS FROM EXAMPLE: LOAD COMBINATION 20 TO LOAD 20 AT STAAD EDITOR) TO MATCH THE CHANGE COMMAND WITH P-DELTA ANALYSIS TO CONSIDER SECONDARY STRESS.

When you have generate support command software provides the support internally. i have talked to my colleagues and come to the conclusion that this cannot be imported into foundation. The work around wil be to change the surfaces to plates with proper mesh and then provide supports at those specific nodes. An easier way to change the surface to corresponding plates.
In short you will have to ,make two nodels, one for importing file TO STAAD FOUNDATION with plates and another with surfaces so that the design of shear wall may be performed.

We have tried your suggestion and the result was fair. Thanks for your help. Hoping that in the next release of staadpro the surface meshing will have an option to display its nodes so we can put supports as needed in staadfoundation to be able to have just one model of shear wall in the structure.
