OS: Windows 7
Ram Structural Version: 14.2.2
When viewing in 3D, we selected a concrete beam to view in elevation.
A popup error window appeared that said: "RAMContainer MFC Application has stopped working"
Re-installing the application fixed the problem. Any ideas to the cause of the problem?
An older version of RAMGe.dll may have been registered. Reinstalling the program will register the library during the installation process, but manually registering all the libraries in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Bentley\Engineering\RAMCommon with regsvr32 provides an alternative. Please note that the registration commands must be run as an administrator under Windows Vista or 7. I can provide a batch file that automates the manual registration process if needed.
The Batch File would be great! This has happened for us over many versions.
The batch file can be downloaded from:communities.bentley.com/.../download.aspx
Right-click on the above link, and save it as a file.
This file contains commands for manually registering graphics libraries for RAM Structural System. If the graphics libraries are not registered properly, this file may resolve the problem. To use it, save the file, and change its extension from txt to bat. If running Windows Vista or 7, right-click on the file, and select Run as Administrator to execute it. If running Windows XP, just double-click it. A black DOS window will appear for a fraction of a second and disappear.
