Solution in Mine Property, Mine Planning and infrastructure, Mineral Processing and Bulk Materials Handling

 The Mining and Metals community is for members who want to GET ACTIVE and CONNECT with others involved  in the planning, design and construction of mining infrastructure and related activities that support the life cycle of mining - from resource location through mining operations to mine closure. 

The community will focus on industry trends and how to apply Bentley technologies to shorten project schedules and lower operating cost through improved access to mission critical information. Discussion topics include:

• Best practice use of Bentley's GIS tools and road design products for everything for mine site development including mine asset mapping, control and environmental restoration monitoring of mine property, and openpit and tunnel layouts managed across multidiscipline design situations with complex layouts.
• The growing demand for new solutions for mine surveying and planning and how MicroStation for Mining has found application to address this demand.
• The business case for applying technology to support the establishment of mine infrastructure ranging from deep shafts, railways, mine planning layouts, roads, buildings, waste dumps to processing plants and bulk handling of run of mine material.
