Edit the print driver to print to file
Original Tip Date:

Print to file by editing driver
Phil Chouinard
shuffled out of his office and grunted these words of knowledge:
MicroStation V8 - To print to a file, add this statement to your plot driver. You won't be prompted for a file name and it will overwrite any files of the same name:
default_outFile/auto_overwrite = "$(Noext (_DGNFILE)).prn"
If you prefer to be prompted for the file name, use this statement:
default_outFile = "$(Noext (_DGNFILE)).prn"
