Add a requirement to indicate the Product Version prior to posting

This has been discussed in the past and unfortunately implementing it would not be trivial. It is still something we want to consider doing, but not in the immediate future.

In the meantime you will notice when creating a new post, there is some red text at the top which attempts to highlight the importance of specifying the product and version.

I have noticed that, when making a new post, my signature doesn't show up. It comes through fine if I am replying to a post, but is ommitted when I create a new post. Since that is where I list my product versions, that information doesn't come across in any new posts.

While that may not be the issue with most users, it is an incovenience.

A special customization to the platform is used in order to display the signature in replies; this is currently not implemented for the original post but I can see the potential value. So, we will look into this. Thanks for the feedback.

I've noticed this myself.

Just a quick update here - we are planning to add the signature to the bottom of the original post of a forum thread (in addition to the replies) in an upcoming update to Bentley Communities which we expect to roll out at the end of next week.
