I am having some problems with rendering, and we think we have traced back the problems to the graphics card.
I have a 2 week old Dell workstation (T5500), running XP on 64-bit, with NVIDIA Quadro 2000 video card with total video RAM of 1024MB. Due to confidentiality, I cant tell you what i am working on, or post the drawing (even on your secure server, I checked), but I can tell you that it is a photorealistic version of a 60 acre site. To give some perspective, it took me 9 days to add all the fencing! The problem I am having is that whn i run the animations, it is not generating properly, for instance, it may miss buildings, or fencing appears and disappears by frame.
My questions are: does this sound like a graphics card issue? If so, if we boost the memory on the card, will it solve the issue, or would it be better to source a better graphics card? Any help would be gratefully received.
I am a lone user of MicroStation, and have only very recently started using the rendering and animation side of things, so any help would be great!!
thanks
Niki
