Store material definitions within the design file
In MicroStation V8 XM Edition, you can save material definitions and associated assignment tables directly in the design file instead of in external material and palette files.
All you got to do is set
MS_LOCAL_MATERIALS = 1
, or manually do a right click on the material in the
Material Editor
dialog.
Note: Local material support is new in MicroStation V8 XM Edition and is
not
supported by earlier versions.
