If sparsly populated DWG files are slow to load
I found this interesting bit of information on the
bentley.microstation.v8.dwg
disscussion groups
.
A user had a fairly small file that was taking forever to load into MicroStation V8. Apparentley it had nearly two thousand temporary or junk layer/level filters that are created by AutoCAD when it runs certain commands.
Issuing the keyin
level filter delete all
solved the problem.
With thanks to
Eric Lofgren
for finding the solution to this.
