Bentley Institute Student Ambassadors act as liaisons between Bentley and their schools to effectively prepare themselves and their peers into successful infrastructure professionals. They are responsible for leading the Bentley learning activities on their campus that support learning in fun and creative ways. They are leaders who inspire fellow students, by sharing examples of fantastic infrastructure projects and information about key trends in industries that are advancing infrastructure.
This time Bentley Institute recognizes its Student Ambassador, Luo Hege from City College Southwest University of Science and Technology, China. A fourth-year undergraduate student of Project Costing, Luo says that it was his curiosity in learning BIM technology that pushed him towards taking this responsibility of being an ambassador for Bentley Institute.
After being appointed in May 2017, Luo has actively organized sessions in which he himself trained students on AECOsim Building Designer, ContextCaputure, and MicroStation. Apart from being the Student Ambassador for Bentley Institute, Luo is also the student leader of the BIM Association in his University. This has helped him in spreading awareness about the sessions amongst the association members as well. A result, every session in his campus witnessed an attendance of minimum 30 students.
Luo mentions that he is thankful to Bentley Institute for providing him all the necessary support and the learning material. He also says that taking up the role of Student Ambassador has helped him gain more profound insights into Bentley Technology and has enhanced his software application skills. He confident that the knowledge gained will help in becoming a productive and successful infrastructure professional.
We want to thank Luo for his all contributions in spreading awareness about the BIM Technology and wish him success for his future endeavors!
