The Bentley Institute Student Ambassador Program is specially curated to reduce the gap between academic learning and the technology skills needed by industry. As a part of their responsibility they motivate students to learn about the new technology demanded by the job market and encourage them to learn beyond their curriculum studies. They play role in helping students from their schools to become familiar with Bentley software and supporting learning resources, through fun and informative activities and seminars.
This time Bentley Institute is recognizing its Student Ambassador - Hafid Alfianto, a third-year Civil Engineering student from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia. Since his joining mid-2017, he has initiated and organized introductory virtual sessions for AutoPIPE, and MAXSURF. In September 2017 he also hosted a virtual session on “STAAD Pro- Analysis and Design of a G+5 Building" which was attended by 120 students from his campus.
In an interaction with Bentley Institutes Academic Program Manager, Hafid mentioned that he is glad he took up this opportunity of being the Student Ambassador as it has helped him to spread awareness about the importance of learning new technology for the increasing demands of the job market.
After completing his studies, Hafid envisions to contribute towards development of Indonesia by joining the state-owned enterprises in the field of construction.
Hafid has set an ideal example of a Student Ambassador, and we wish him good luck in all future endeavors.
