The Bentley Student Ambassador Program is one such activity, where students get a chance to act as a link between Bentley Systems and their campus, and also join a global network of fellow ambassadors. Bentley Student Ambassadors help create opportunities for students at their school to also get involved, organizing campus activities like guest lectures and workshops. This program also encourages the use of technology in a fun and creative way amongst students.

In order to grab the opportunity to volunteer as a Bentley Student Ambassador, you need to be excited to become the go-to person for students and educators at your school. You will also get acquainted with Bentley software, various infrastructure projects, and industries that use Bentley’s software. Bentley Student Ambassadors are either nominated by educators at their school or volunteer and are then approved by Bentley. They are then trained by Bentley Academic Team, so they can share and enhance that knowledge with fellow students from various engineering streams.

Bentley would like to recognize Hoang Hong Duong, one of our newly appointed Bentley Student Ambassadors, from University of Transport and Communications in Vietnam. Hoang is in his third year, and his major focus of study is in road and bridge construction. He has been using Bentley’s MicroStation PowerDraft, and is brushing up on additional products by attending Bentley workshops. Of course, he is also sharing information about available software and training opportunities with his classmates!

Hoang helped the Bentley Academic Team in organizing a seminar at his university, and uses various social networking channels in order to keep students at Hanoi National University informed about events and opportunities to enhance their technology skills and career prospects. He has also helped Bentley in creating STUDENTserver awareness throughout his campus, because of which many students have joined STUDENTserver to gain more knowledge on Bentley Products.

Hoang is also passionate about reading and playing violin, which makes him a very well-rounded Ambassador.

KUDOS to Hoang Hong Duong!
