For the third time in five years a student from AGH, Krakow in Poland is a winner in our annual Student Design Competition, this time in the “Innovation in Rendering Using MicroStation” category.
The award ceremony took place on 7TH June at AGH in Krakow and it was attended by Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Anna Siwik, Vice-dean of Faculty for Geology, Mining and Environmental Engineering Prof. Dr. Stanislaw Gruszczyński, Vice-Dean Prof. Dr. Beata Hejmanowska, Vice-Dean Dr. Tomasz Lipecki, Prof. Dr. Artur Krawczyk and many friends and family members of the winning student, Mateusz Ilba.
His winning project was titled the “Church in Trinidad Bay” which was recently featured on a local TV Station program under the title: "AGH-UST Internationalstudents achievements")
In his speech, the representative of Bentley Systems, Poland- Miroslaw Pawelec, stressed the importance of education for the future of engineering industry and the leading role that AGH University of Science and Technology plays in sustaining theinfrastructure profession.

Congratulaions to Mateusz on his excellent work, but also to Professor Dr. Artur Krawczyk and his team who manage to inspire students to achieve excellence in engineering education and also AGH University for creating an environment where such a work is encouraged and appreciated.
