Applied Research

Our research has focused on developing the computational intelligence methods with the heterogeneous computing paradigms, and applying them to solve the challenging problems in infrastructure system design, operation and management. Working together with Bentley colleagues, industry and academic partners, we undertake the research projects spanning over different infrastructure sectors including urban water systems, buildings, highway and railway bridges. We have been actively pursuing thought leaderships by publishing peer-reviewed technical papers, reference books and book chapters, presenting at international conferences, and giving lectures at universities.
