Using old SBM in V8i

I have a couple of old SBM(s) we use in V7 and I was hoping I could convert them to be used in V8i.

I tried using the SBMtoXML.exe but had no luck. Does anyone know if this is possible?

    1. You can still use SBM's with V8i  - AM=[SBM_name],SB[1-8]
      1. You can use the full path filename (in quotes, if the path contains spaces) or just the SBM filename, if the SBM is in the path pointed to by MS_MENU or possibly MS_DATA, you only need the SBM filename. And I don't believe you ever need the extension.
      2. The number 1-8 are for the four corners of each application window, however, I believe they only really are now used to act as slot numbers - attach two SB1's and the first one unloads when the second is loaded. So to load multiple SBM's, assign each its own number.
    2. When you say you had no luck using SBMtoXML.exe, what exactly was the issue?
      1. When using the MDF2XML.exe program, I discovered the HTM file no longer works under Windows 7 or 8. But I did discover I can drag and drop an MDF file onto the exe and it still creates the XML file from the MDF file. The MDF file is the ASCII source for the MDL application Barmenu. This allows you to turn a Barmenu into an XML.
      2. When working with the MDF2XML program, we found that many of our items were more appropriate to use as tools and tasks than as menus. So we were forced to write an MVBA program to parse most MDF files and have it create the XML files to then import into the Customize Workspace tools.
