steel.ma - not loading in PowerDraft

On attempting to load steel.ma I get the message "Application is not authorized to run on this product." Is this intended or a bug? If intended is there going to be a PowerDraft version?

  • Steel (like other free V8i Bentley Library Utilities) is currently intended for use on MicroStation.

  • I just ran into this here. We only need the basic functionality that this tool provides so it's not worth the upgrade to full MicroStation to use it. It would be helpful if this can be made to work with PowerDraft. If not we will buy a cell library from elsewhere or I will spend hours creating one.

  • Yes, I found that tool and posted a link to in on here. It looks great, but unfortunately it doesn't currently include the AISC standards so its not of much use here in the US.

the link is not working anymore site seems to be down...
