Usage logs have not been transmitted

Hello,


I'm are running SELECT Server - Version 8.11.1.64 and when I go to http://servername/bss/admin I end up seeing "SELECT Server's usage logs have not been transmitted in the timeframe required. All client application license requests will fail until the usage logs have been transmitted. There are 0 log entries to be sent. Logs were last transmitted on 9/7/2014 10:30:00 AM"


I tried to follow what I saw on the forum or wiki but nothing works because every time I click on Manage Services it brings me back to "http://servername/bss/admin/default.aspx?Control=TransmitLogsNow" instead.


I don't really know what to do so your help would be appreciated.

  • Hi, this is a defect of SelectServer version 08.11.1.64. In your case the only solution is starting the Bentley SelectServer service in Windows Services and waiting for it to send logs manually at the midnight (default time). If your server does not have connectivity it will at least prepare the logs for manual transmittal but again you will only be able to manually send the logs after the midnight automatic tasks run which are started by the service I mentioned.
